WHATSAPP MEETS YOUR LOCAL PRINT SHOP
Your documents. A familiar starting point.
Use WhatsApp with EkCopy to sign in and send documents. Then bring your files, print preferences and selected shop together in the editor.
Open the editor and sign in.
Choose “Sign in with WhatsApp” in the EkCopy editor. Follow the sign-in panel: send its prepared WhatsApp message, or request a code and enter the code received on WhatsApp. Return to the same browser tab to finish.
If you are using a computer, the sign-in panel also offers a QR-code option you can open with your phone. Follow the instructions shown in the panel for the current sign-in session.
Choose the files you want to print.
You can use documents you have sent to EkCopy on WhatsApp or upload files directly from your device. In the editor, select the documents for your order and wait for any required conversion to finish.
Already at a shop that uses EkCopy? Scan the QR code at the counter and send your files to the EkCopy WhatsApp number. The shopkeeper can print them straight from EkCopy.
For documents with detailed formatting, PDF is a useful starting point. Check that the file name, page count and preview match what you intend to print.
Set your preferences in the editor.
Choose colour or black and white, the number of copies and the available page and layout options. The editor lets you review these details together, so the shop receives your chosen preferences with the job.
Select a participating shop and check the displayed cost. A file sent in a chat is not a substitute for reviewing and submitting the print order.
Submit and collect locally.
Review the files and shop location, then submit your order. Check its status in EkCopy and arrange collection with your selected shop.
Keep your order details handy. For urgent printing or special finishing, confirm the shop’s availability and services directly before relying on a collection time.
Do I have to upload my documents through WhatsApp?
No. You can upload documents directly from your phone or computer in the EkCopy editor. WhatsApp is used for sign-in and also offers another way to send files.
I sent the sign-in message. What happens next?
Return to the browser tab where you opened EkCopy. For message-based sign-in, the panel completes sign-in after verification. If you requested a code instead, enter it in the code boxes. An expired code can be resent from the sign-in panel.
Will sending a file to WhatsApp print it immediately?
Review your files, print settings, selected shop and cost in the editor, then submit your print job. Sending a document alone should not be treated as confirmation that it has been printed.
